i5 2500k. I was in the same dilemma last night and bought the 2500k after canceling my FX-8150 order. The power usage was the killer for me. The performance I can deal with but not at the cost of so much more wattage.

from reading the hardocp review if you are into video encoding and 3d rendering then 8120, otherwise 2500k

He does a lot of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and animation as well.

I do have faith in Bulldozer

Probably going to say i5, mainly because it's a sure thing.

If I hadn't already gotten a 990FX board about a couple months ago, I would probably be rocking a 2500K right about now.

If you game: 2500K
If you do general computer work (web browsing, email, office work, etc.): 2500K
If you do large amounts of rendering/video manipulation: Depends on what application you use. I would probably go with a 2600K
