I have been planning a Bulldozer build for awhile now and finally got the CPU & GPU today so decided to get started on it.

Here is what I have:

AMD FX-8150 CPU
Asus Crosshair V Formula Motherboard
AMD Radeon 7970 GPU
4 x 4GB Corsair Vengeance 1600 ram
256 GB Corsair Performance Pro SSD
Corsair H100 Cooler
Cooler Master GX750 PSU
Cooler Master Haf-932 Case

Main purpose of this build will be for video playback and gaming

Need to remove the large fan at the top of the case to make room for the H-100 Rad

I am going to need to get a different PSU at some point as cable management with the GX750 really isn't an option

SSD mounted and ready to go in

The Corsair Performance Pro SSD looks great in brushed aluminum - too bad it will be hidden away in a drive bay

Only one negative piece of feedback, why the H100? Warranty reasons?

You would have been alot better off going with a XSPC rasa kit! They're actually cheaper then a H100 here.

Other then that nice build!

That is all I am going to do for tonight. Hopefully have time tomorrow to install the OS and get it up and running.

Also need to think about a better way to deal with all the PSU cables:

I was originally considering going with a XSPC rasa kit on this build, but my friends at Corsair provided me with the H-100, Ram, & SSD so it was a no brainer to use these parts.

Picked up the OS this morning:

If all goes well I will install it tonight and have this system up and running.

If anyone has any good ideas on how do deal with the excess cables of a non-modular PSU in the HAF-932, I would appreciate hearing them

pretty nice...what kind of gaming would you be doing? because my friend is thinking of going bulldozer and pretty much for the same reasons what you stated in your OP (video editing + gaming) so let me know how your bulldozer performs...

My plan was for this rig to be used almost solely for Diablo III. My last AMD rig was a AMD 1055T with a 6970 GPU and it handled games and video really well, so I have high hopes for the bulldozer.

At some point I might add a second 7970 to this system as well, but will see what the performance is like with the single card first.
