Depends. A good stepping 165 can hit 3.0, and the 170 does not get much higher, if any. Either will overclock just fine, esp. in that DFI Lanparty Ultra D board. If you have some budget left, invest it in a good aftermarket cooler.<br />
Thus, I'd get the 165 + a good aftermarket cooler.
