Are you talking about the badges right under your avatar? If so, those are set to what you have selected under your default system.
AMD/INTEL and NVIDIA/ATI Badges
I've been wanting to remove mine since the first day, I didn't realize that once you chose them you could only change them.
I believe it adds to the fanboism.

Folks have more than one computer these days, and more and more buy now due to speed and features, so a default setting can make folks believe that's the only brand they use (which is often the case with processors, there's some hardcore AMD and Intel types).
I can only use Intel procs, but that doesn't mean I'll always be as loyal as my family, as Intel doesn't pay me for a living and I have to buy my own hardware!
