do i have to have AMD Mobo to use AMD processors and Athlon(this is one of AMD processors, right?)

and the fan.. can i use any fan?

U must have a mobo with the right socket, so yes. As for the fan, you can always make it fit

there are different sockets...there are also different cpus...there are the athlon XPs, athlon 64 skt754, and A64 skt939

and fans same thing, u can only use a heatsink disigned for the skt your using
