AMD Overdrive. UNDERCLOCKED my Cpu from 2.4ghz to 1ghz ***!

So as it says.

I used AMD Overdrive to OC my CPU automaticly, I waited for it to hit 2600mhz and stopped it there (It stresses the CPU while increasing the fsb or w/e by 1mhz.

So, when i pressed apply.. IT DOWNCLOCKED it to 1000mhz with a 5x multiplier, and what do i do now? Processor is at 35c idle (was at 52c LOAD in 2600mhz)

How do i reset it? With explanations/step-by-step/guide or something!

Specs in signature.

Go into your BIOS and change "AMD Cool n' Quiet" from [Auto] to [Disabled]

It's a power saving feature. Nothing more.
or go to power options and change to high performance.

It is already disabled before i even started Overdrive.

Could i just increase the multiplier back to 12? (I Just did that but what if it damage my cpu lol)

Try stressing your computer before doing anything.

With the exception of the power saving features, you can't change the multiplier on your CPU that much.

I would go and actually check your BIOS to see if it is disabled. If not, then any slight amount of load would make it go back to it's full multiplier.

It IS disabled, simple. I know how to disable it lol. And i have the Energy option to 'Balanced' and Cool n Quiet isnt even there, now CPU-Z tells me its at 2408,1MHz in idle (not doing anything) so I think it is disabled.

Anyone used Overdrive before, the Autoclock feature that is and can confirm if you HAVE to let the green bar to its maximum (progress bar) and let it clock as high as it can or whats the deal?

I've never used the auto clock feature, but what you described is an auto power saving feature being enabled. Look for c1e and change it to high performance not balanced. Balanced still downclocks the CPU if c1e or amd Cool n' Quiet is enabled.
