I changed title to Amd R9 380 / 380X Owners Discussion Thread. It doesn't require any rules other than being an owner and / or honestly interested in owning one.

If you'd like to start a club, a member would have to create an OP with information and way to enroll members along with willing to keep owners list updated.

Feel free to edit your OP and put all the info you'd like on these GPU's.

SO..... i buy MSI R9 380 G4 it's 4gb version. How to high i can stable OC this card? do now 1000 core and mem 1450... afraid go higher!!

I don't own the MSI so I can't speak to its capabilities exactly, but my PowerColor 380 had no problems matching my 380x at 1050/1500 with 20% power limit allowance. I could do more with voltages but haven't had the time to put any attempts in just yet.

Yes, using AB. As I said, I just haven't had the time to do more than my initial overclock on the card though I intend to when I finish sorting a few other projects. Just a quick check on what I could get out of her at stock voltage.

well I haven't gotten the chance to completely assemble my PC yet but I have this CPU and 8 gb of ram to go with my 380x

i have this one







It was between this one and the msi.

I regret my desition, this one is too noisy. anything over 50% fan speed is anoying. to keep the temp under 70º the fan spins at 55%.

Another thing i dont like is that it throttle even at stock clocks, i had to push the power limit to +20 to fix this.

My current OC is 1050/1550. 1100/1600 is completly stable but i lower it a little for better temps.
