My Toshiba Laptops' Specs:

http://www.mytoshiba.com.au/products/computers/satellite/l850/pskeca-01n002/specifications

Problem: I bought this laptop on eBay and noticed that the 2 USB ports aren't working. They either have a hardware fault or lack the right driver. I tried to d/l drivers on the Toshiba page, but cannot find the right driver for it. Maybe it's my age 76... ?? What to do?
How can I find out which driver is the right one and where to d/l t? Thanks in advance for your expert help, Joh from Townsville/ Qld

You can download drivers for your laptop using this page: https://support.toshiba.com/support/modelHome?freeText=1200012647&osId=38

Click on "Others" on the left side of the page and download the file named "AMD USB Filter Driver" that has the size of 42.85M.

Install the file, when downloaded, and follow instructions to complete the installation, you may be asked to restart the laptop when it does complete the drivers installation. This file contains the USB 3.0 drivers which your laptop does not have installed. Please run "Windows Update" when you have time, so your laptop can download the latest patches and drivers for your laptop. :)

Good luck and have fun using the new laptop. :)
