Also, keep in mind that your processor may unlock to a X4 and it may not so buy it with the intention of having a dual core and then see where you can go from there.

Also, when it comes to a motherboard, I know that the Gigabyte Boards new BIOS' have specific options for unlocking specifically Core 2 and Core 3 (numbered 0,1,2,3) and then you can test for stability.

Also, your links are broken. But here's a question for you, what's your budget for a motherboard?

one vote for both gigabyte board, if u don't need cross fire option, can save up a 'lil & go for better memory. both should be equally good. g45 is not bad but vcore fluctuate from 0.03~0.05v.

i'm not a fans of asus.

If you want a cheap board that is pretty good go for a gigabyte based bored. They're very reliable, most have 60,000 or something hours of capacitor life (little black cylinders, they hold electrons to bring down voltage) most of them have dual BIOS which is good if your overclocking, just some backup. Most of their higher end boards have 2 OZ of copper and have a new testing feature in the BIOS to see if it's stable.

It really depends on what you want, if you want to unlock cores you need a motheboard with the hybrid feature, makes life easy, but it comes down to luck usually.
Good luck it's always hard doing things like this but fun
