how does the dual core work? is it like running dual cpus but in 1 socket or?
and wat kinda clock speed can we expect

edit: o yeah, 64's are gonna be replaced anytime soon, their brand new to the market practicly.

That's exactly it, you have two CPU cores in one package on one socket. The code name for the desktop dual core chip is Toledo (from tale of two cities, get it?
) and will come in 5 versions:
x80:2400 MHz
x75:2200 MHz
x75:2200 MHz
x70:2000 MHz
x60:1600 MHz
They should be quite fast if theoretically a dual core 2400 is equal to a 4.8GHz single core Athlon 64
