greetings , and happy new year .
does anyone here have the 8800 housed on a asus a8n-e mobo .
seems to me that my nb cooler might be in the way of the gpu .
my 7600 gt is about 1/4 inch away from the nb cooler at present .
any ideas? i think i can get an offset nb cooler that will allow the 8800 enough room .
any suggestions , would be great .

That passive heatsink is an aftermarket one. Just remount your original HSF and the card will fit. You may also want to have a look at the Thermalright HR-05-SLI
