Hey i was wondering if there are any open source website builders like frontpage, i dont want to learn http right away so it has to be newb friendly.

i don't know if it is open source, but Netscape has a built-in web site builder, that's very similar to frontpage. An alomost identical program, Mozilla Suite, has the almost exact same web site builder as Netscape, download Mozilla Suite at mozilla.org

well if u wanted you could also look at an Open Source Portal or CMS system they can be easy to configure and easy to get working

NotePad and WordPad from Microsoft aren't open source but they are the best website builder for starters IMO.

Nvu. It's portable too!

But honestly, I'd recommend wordpad. If you can't make a website with wordpad first, you have no business making a website, period.
