Interesting... Im one of those people stuck on VZW that still hasn't gotten the HTC One.... grrrr... I've been holding out for it, but if I can get the Note 3 less than a month after the One launch, I might just hold out
Those Note 3 specs looks good, here is a screen size comparison between HTC One vs GS4 vs Note 2 vs leaked Note 3 spec:if reports from South Korea's Asia Economic are to be believed. The publication reports that the third Galaxy Note handset will be announced at a gathering in Berlin on Sep. 4, two days ahead of IFA opening its doors to the public. What's more, Samsung may use the same event to launch its smart watch, the existence of which was confirmed by a company executive back in March.
As for the Galaxy Note 3, Asia Economic reports that a 5.7-inch AMOLED panel will be used in the device -- a small bump up from the 5.5-inch Note 2 display -- as well as a "new" Exynos 5 Octa CPU and 3 gigabytes of RAM. If accurate, that'd make Samsung's new hybrid device a formidable beast in terms of both size and specs.
I might even get a Smart Watch...... I own a lot of Samsung products, one more won't harm me. lol
Note 2 still fit inside my pocket, and is great smartphone to watch video, listen to music, and any kind of task, so note 3 shouldn't be a problem, only down side is if you got small finger, you may require second hand to touch stuff
I have the Note 1 which is 5.3" and it is totally comfortable and it fits like a glove in almost any pocket.
Looks up Note 2's launch day pricing, it is going to be pretty much the same as Note 3's launch day pricing.

I dunno about 5.7" though.
Performance wise the Note 1 was a bit underwhelming as the resolution is larger than the other products of the same generation making it a tad slower. Now that almost all high-end smartphones are full HD, the size of the screen doesn't really make a difference in performance, except for battery consumption.
Got a Note 2 now, and if those specs are true, I am nabbing a Note 3 the day it comes out. New Exy Quad with 3GB of ram is beast status indeed.
no, it's a set of two quad cores. The phone switches between the two based on whether or not the phone is able to get by with the 4 slower, more power friendly, cores, or if needs to enable the 4 faster, power hungry, cores.
that's mobile technology for you. Just 6 months after the Note 3 comes out, it'll be "underwhelming" as well.Originally Posted by JMattes

I have a Galaxy Nexus with a crack in the corner of the screen and horrible battery life and I passed on the S4 to wait for the Note 3 for the screen size and battery life. Also the specs on the Note 2 were underwhelming at this point.. Other than price there wasnt much of reason to get it now, when the 3 is around the corner..
I love looking at the latest rumors on the Note 3 as there has been a lot lately. Happy to finally see a thread pop up on OCN. Even though its not new information for anyone that has been looking elsewhere on the net.
So what for VZW we will have it in our hands by November?
