Sometimes when this drive is idling or just web browsing it will make this kinda loud noise around every 3-6 seconds and no it isn't a clicking noise. It is a different noise from when the drive is actually seeking. It doesn't always happen when idling and web browsing though. Is this just how the drive is?

Oh you mean the sound the drive makes when it's reading/writing?
I dunno exactly what you call it,but yes it is a bit more noisy with the Caviar Black drives than some others.
The sound is noticeable with a WD Caviar Black in my HAF 922, but it doesn't seem to bother me.

Mine's quieter than the fans on my rad, and that's all that matters.

No it doesn't sound like that. That sounds like clicking. Mine just makes really loud noises when reading I guess it just sounds like the disc is reading but it is fairly loud.
