It starts from $1 - $1000.

And I usually upgrade about $800 at Christmas and $800 on my birthday (March).

Sorry. I left this thread because I see people spending as much money on upgrading 1 rig as I make in 6 months and it irritates me. And when I returned(Lord knows why) I still see the same thing. I hate my job.

You're working on the assumption that everyone is answering accurately.

Also it doesn't matter that other people have better rigs, I recognise my rig is above average, but I also recognise that there are probably hundreds of rigs on here better than mine, you don't need to try and get the best rig, just the one that is best for you.

Spent over $2500 on main system this year (went through 3 different cases and new mobo and PSU) and about over $3500+ combined with other rigs I've built. I'd say $1000 or less if I wasn't so obsessed in this hobby, which I'm cutting spending from here on out; though that may change due to massive incoming tax returns and huge weekly paychecks.

Just bought a gtx 780ti, so add that to the cost of my one year old Pc. Nice way to celebrate the anniversary. 740 euros.

In the past three months I've bought (and resold some of) 18 R9 graphics cards for between $150-$375 a piece including 3 280X Vapor-Xs (that I'm currently using for [email protected]), a total of 7 R9 290X core editions (4 of which I still have), 2 R9 290s (one TriX, resold, and 1 core edition, waiting to resell), a Gigabyte WindForce 290X & a Sapphire TriX 290X (both resold), and I'm waiting to get in 2 290X TriX cards which will prompt the resale of two more core edition 290Xs, those well also primarily be used for [email protected]

That in of itself is about $3900 (soon to be $4600 if I get those TriX cards) spent, with around $2600 (soon to be $3200 when I resell the 2 core editions I need to resell) made on resales... plus I spent about $500 rebuilding a P67 computer back to running shape this week, so I shudder to think how ridiculous my yearly spending would be if I kept up that pace.
