Well i went to home depot today and bought an 11 X 14 acrylic window, super strength double sides tape that holds up to 5lbs ( Scotch super heavy duty tapes it is in red packaging and the tape is red or covered with a red strip on the tape and can be found in the paint section) and i got a 50ft roll of 1/4 in. microtubing and i have taken a 2 inch piece and cut it in half to try see how well it would do with edge molding and it seems it will do nicely. I just need to straighten and flatten out the tubing a little and it should work nicely. It is raining right now but i can still work on this mod today as long as the wind isnt blowing the rain under the backyard patio roof.

Bump for pictures coming in a minute!! It's still fully complete i just need to split the 1/4" tubing in half, put it on the edge and then tape the window on.
Work area, excuse the bottles of water but the wind knocked them off the table

The template, the scribbled lines are the shape of the window

Cutting time

Time to grind

Rounded the edges

Window in place, sort of

THE END PRODUCT

Thanks, right now im cutting the microtubing the right length, after cutting a long strip and then putting it on i was half an inch short so i have to do it all over again. I need some super glue too for the corners. This will be continued after i get some superglue maybe later tonight.

For removing the text on the tubing i should use thinner, but thats the dutch name, idk if the use something else in the usa, kinda toxic stuff but removes everything.
Thanks
Paint thinner? There is also Goo Off or something like that

and its probably paint thinner, kinda bad for your skin etc, but that will work i guess..
better than sanding, that will leave some scratches...

Well the letters only show in an inch on the top left so not a big deal.
