wow i cant believe how fast this drive is. sustained read and write is 145MBs i use our software to test it out and man all this years nothing but seagate and the last one i tested 7200.12 was about 110Mb's but this Samsung F3 is the $hit

Get another 500 f3 and raid0 them and you'll see some preformance gains. I picked up the sammy F3 1tb last week and now i'm looking to get another and raid0 them. After doing some quick hdtune benchie's i was just amazed with it.

Yeah, F3's are apparently the fastest hard drives for read and write times.

Newegg is currently sold out on the 500GB models....

the only thing i dont like about raid 0 is the lag time to boot in to windows. Also for opening up programs i don't see any gains. But for moving big files yes it makes seance to do so.

correct me if im wrong
