Hello, My name is Nick i live in saint charles MO. I am a 23 year old nerd. I have been messing around with computers for the past 8 years and built many many computers. I have NEVER overclocked tho. Was always to scared to mess up my PC. So i am here for you guys to teach me. I play alot of first person shooters, Such as call of duty (all of em), Unreal tournament, Counter strike all of em. Well thats pretty much me.

Thank you guys. Yea i just got the Chip and so far im loving it. As for the monitor its amazing. It was my TV but dedicate it to gaming.

I also have an AMD setup with the 9850 Black Edition, 2 Evga 8800GTS cards, antec 900 case 2gb OCZ SLI mem. Thing runs pretty well but this Intel pc runs much better IMO.

so welcome. and yeah ur q8400 is gna rape the phenom

the phenom I's were pretty flawed iirc. and the q8400 is prly on par with the high end phenom II's.

yea i bought the phenom I the day it came out cuz i was pretty into AMD and thought "its and amd quad core, whatt could go wrong?" Little did i know!

The machine actually runs pretty will but not as good as i would have liked for it to. Im prob gonna snag the Swiftech Liquid kit out of it for this machine.
