Antec 900, HAF 922, Tt V9, or current case?

I'm looking for another case. I'm looking at newegg's holiday deals, and I like a few of them. Or, should I just stick with my current case?

I'm undecided between:

Antec 900
HAF 922
Thermaltake V9
Current case [modded Compaq Deskpro EN]

What I'm looking for in a case:

Moddability

Airflow
Space for cable management
ATX motherboard

The only thing is, if you look at my current case, I don't know how I can justify a new one. I'm capable of further modifying mine to fit my needs.

Problems with my current case:

Cable management is near impossible; there is no space designed for it. Also, regular PSUs don't fit correctly in the proprietary Compaq case; I had to use wood screws. My hardware is a tight fit in the my current case, and I feel like if I had a little more room to work with, everything would be just fine. I have 3 HDDs, and 2 HDD bays.

I need a case that will last a long time, and one that will allow for all kinds of mods. I'm thinking of maybe getting cheaper case, so I feel a bit better about any modifications.

Cheapter alternatives:

NZXT Beta EVO
Raidmax Smilodon.

To sum up... There are so many people with either the HAF or the 900, so I'm leaning away from them because they aren't unique. Maybe with various mods, they would break away from the mold, but I doubt it. The NZXT Beta Evo seems like a great deal for the price, and it looks like I could modify is sufficiently (see worklogs in sig).

OCN, please let me know what you think I should do!

I've worked in all those cases for many clients over the last year, and I must say my favorite out of all of them was the HAF 922. Wire management was far superior to the 900 (I owned one myself) and It was just generally alot better. The HAF 922 is also alot quieter then the 900, and IMO the 922 looks better.

Yeah I jumped on that HAF 922 deal myself, so I would recommend it also. I like the looks of the 900 but with the 922 you are getting cable management, a cpu retention hole, nice tooless design with rubber grommets for noise dampening and much more.

I've worked in the 900, 922, & Smilodon myself

Antec 900 is nice, but since newegg has the 922 for the same price right now, def. go with the 922

the smilodon is cool because the foldable mobo tray, but cable management is next to impossible in it (no holes, all you can do is stuff all your cords behind the harddrives)

go with the 922 for shure
Wow, thanks you guys. I do like the look of the HAF, and with the mention of quiet operation, I think I'll go with it. It's time for a bit more research, but for now, it looks good for the HAF.

Any comment on my current case? I'm not one to spend excess money, so I'm still wondering if somehow I can work past the imperfections.
I've a HAF 922 and the space is unbelievably well thought out. I replaced my HAF 932 with this because this was a tad smaller (you wouldn't think it) and It looks a whole lot better. It's quite, Very cool (temp) And nice and sturdy and doesn't vibrate.

Not had any experience with the other cases though that's why I have not said get this get that get this etc.. Good luck with your choice

After thinking about it a bit more, I think I'm going with the HAF 922. I really like the air flow design, it follows the "heat rises" rule, and there's plenty of room to work with. All reviews I've read say it's just great, and I think I can modify it in any way I want.

Thanks for all your help OCN users!
