Ok I just built my system today no new but a couple parts new. This is what I got new.

i7 930
evga x58 le sli
patriot memory that has a high heatsink but not too high as an OCZ
and thermalright silver arrow

as I'm installing the heatsink onto the mobo was scared that the heat sink would touch the memory and whew it was off my millimeters. It was bad cause in order to take out the memory i'll have to remove the heatsink. now the tough task was getting in the antec 900 and O boy
it wouldn't fix the dam heatsink is to big. so question is what smaller heatsink that is good equivilent to this one.

There is also the H50/70....heard okay things about it, but IMO if you want to WC then get a custom loop.
And no... The NH-D14 is going to collide with high spreader RAM on most boards I think.

An H70 or VenX would be good but to be honest just get a better case.
Thermalright Venomous X: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-030-_-Product

Corsair H70:http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...181013&Tpk=H70

The Antec 900 is REALLY outdated and too small, look at these two:

Corsair Obsidian 800D (I'd pick this one IMO): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...39001&Tpk=800D

CoolerMaster HAF X (ugly to some, but good for air cooing): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-225-_-Product

No matter the fans which way or the flip heatsink the other way it wouldn't fit . Only one way it would was one wae where the fan faces down towards the VGA but the heatsink on the mobo touches the fan. I should of took a picture.
