Those settings are mostly cosmetic - to reduce WTR_L, you reduce tWRRD_sg 馃ぁ

And yes, you set that BIOS setting to 28 instead of 30.

Just make sure CPU AUX is increased to 1.91v and procODT is "[15]" instead of "[13]", otherwise it might error occasionally 馃ぁ

SA V and VDDQ V ?
You have some suggestions for this 4 sticks on 4200G1 ?

DRAM Voltage is a case of silicon lottery, better luck yields lower values for the same settings, worse luck - higher.
On these sticks, when running proper procODT/RTT settings, I've noticed that they require about +0.06v per 100 MCLK

i.e. if 3600 15-15-15 runs at a minimum stable voltage of 1.34v, then 3800 15-15-15 will require 1.40v, and 4000 15-15-15 will require 1.46v ...
(my dual-rank tridentz 3200 14-14-14 kit required +0.08v per 100 MCLK, so 0.06v is not "guaranteed")

Primary timings may still be down to luck, but they've required +/- 0.09v thus far on all but the most insane sticks.
i.e. if 3800 15-15-15 "requires" 1.41v, then 3800 14-14-14 will probably run at 1.50v +/- 0.01v rounding errors


SA and VDDQ are completely down to your CPU's memory controller, but generally then I've found VDDQ to require +0.05v every 100 MCLK, or each -1 primary (i.e. 15-15-15 --> 14-14-14)
SA Voltage I haven't found to require going up or down from the maximum your CPU does stable, but my CPU seems a little unusual in that it goes up to 1.30v and then no further.

So if you find the minimum required VDDQ that runs 3800 15-15-15 stable, and the minimum DRAM voltage, then you can start predicting voltages at higher/lower frequencies.



My memeory controller bends over backwards past ~3848 MT/s Gear1 in 4x8, even if 4200 15-15-15 trains and doesn't crash in light loads - it insta-BSOD's in 100% load scenarios.

ThnX @Bloax Tipping point for me being 3900, which requires 1.47 with below settings and all 4 parks @ 48 (mind u, i use the same settings @ 3866 at 1.44v)

@Bloax My first attempt to get 4000 CL16 stable so far only set the Primary to 16 16 16 the rest was on Auto
Passed y-cruncher 2.5B without any issues which is a good sign. The board has no issues booting ProODT 28.
