Check if they are Hynix or Samsung. Hynix you can do up to 6600, Samsung up to 6000.

Could do 6200 with a G.Skill kit with Samsung ICs - couldn't do any more than 6200 with Hynix ICs (tried G.Skill and Corsair Dom Plats like the OP).

I have a Z690 ACE, and in general from what I've seen for four-DIMM MSI boards like ours, that top speed is unobtanium. Buildzoid is using a two-DIMM board in the video.

I am using Hynix OEM stick and got 6600 CL32-39-39-28 with ASUS Hero no problem. Had it even at 6800MHz but did not try to get it stable with no RAM heatsinks.

BZ's vids are good for entry level basic stuff. Normally I'd say real forums like XS but those don't exist anymore, so you're left with trial and error unfortunately. Bits and pieces of info can be found here and there as a starting point, but you're gonna have to figure it out by yourself.

I can boot at 6600 - but it wouldn't stabilize. Don't think I bothered to try harder. However, MSI did just put out another BIOS for the ACE, so I'm going to see how that goes.

im back to try pushing my ram to 6000mhz

so far no luck, im using memory try it, the only thing i dont understand is timings
The Msi pro a ddr5 5600 running at 6000 thru mem try it moved timings from 36-36-36-76 to 36-38-38-86 and mem volts from 1.265 to 1.36 volts all auto. This is on a 12400 so SA locked at 0.935v and imc on auto is 1.3v. Didn’t do no stress tests but zero crashes and the fam like to run rust which uses 20 gb of ram in game. So far so good.
