Any PC Exclusives in the Forseeable Future?

I'm really sick of anything that is remotely associated with consoles,
and was wondering which PC Exclusive games will come out, or recently came out?

The majority of the stuff that developers are pushing out are multi-platform (with the current economic situation I frankly do not blame them). There are a couple of exclusives however but they are for niche markets (flight sims, racing, etc).
Only thing I can think of is whatever the next Crysis game is, but even that probably isn't going to be PC only as the previous 2 games were, as the CryEngine3 works on all the major game consoles.
Stalker 3: Apocalyptic

Just a rumor as of now, but I doubt they'd drop the franchise.

Half life 2: episode 3 will probably be exclusive, at least for a while.
The new company of heroes...

Uh...... -> EBGames.com??? click on PC Games tab up top, then click on "View all Coming Soon". Simple!

What did the console ever do to you? Without consoles games will not be where it is at today.

With the console versions massively outselling the PC versions? Not a chance.

you mean being dumbed down and having outdated graphics, and featuring dumb "G.I. Joe" characters?

Whatever makes you happy. Killzone 2 has great graphics, but if you must hate consoles, there's nothing more to say.

Unfortunately, games now are for both consoles and PCs (consoles now are the money makers for publishers).

But since the dismal release of Deus Ex 2 in 2003, in about 2010, Deus Ex 3 will be out. Because of that history EIDOS will be e-x-t-r-a careful not to PO PC gamers this time (the fallout with DX2 was the worst war I've ever seen against a publisher in gaming - which helped closed down it's dev house, Ion Storm).

Lessons they're still learning from today...

How can a game that maintains playible framerates on a 7800 GTX look great by today's standards?
And today's standard is Crysis.

God you sound like an idiot. Have you ever played Killzone 2 before? Obviously you haven't. You irrationally lash out against consoles with the most idiotic things to back up your hate against them.

Where the hell did you get 7800GTX from? X360 and PS3 are mono purpose gaming machines. They do not need crazy powerful CPUs or GPUs to make quality looking games moron.
Crysis is not the standard. If it was Crytek wouldn't be making CE3 and porting it the PS3 and X360.

Your standard just got owned by consoles dummy!

:swearing:I hate exclusives, in both directions. How did you guys like BF:BC on PC? I love the BF series, and when I had my 360 - I loved BF:BC. In fact, it was BC that ultimately killed my 360 (killed vid card).

That ended my console experiment - but here's the point:

Who really benefits from exclusives? Seems to me an increased market would increase demand. So without maximizing sales, why bother?

Do the publishers pay money to whichever console gets exclusivity, or vice versa (ie.. Microsoft pays off DICE to keep BC Xbox)...so who would pony up for a PC exclusive?

Do gamers win? Don't think so - now that the console experiment is over - I'll be PC only. So any exclusives on the consoles won't get 1 penny from me - nor will their parent companies making the consoles themselves.

Do the publishers? (see first point), shareholders? same...

I know porting to multiple consoles is a pain and increases overall production costs, but that's the name of the game. And exclusives don't factor this in... they're aren't being exclusive out of laziness..

So rather than worry about what "we" PC gamers will get exclusively - why don't we focus on changing this ridiculous concept and let the publishers know - that yes, I would like to buy the Beatles Game for PC - and I'd pay the $100 premium... and no, I'll not be buying a console to accomodate that.....I'd rather sit and listen to their music.

But if I could play it on a PC... that would be uber-cool!

I like your idea but that's also the problem. Without exclusives how do we determine which console will win the console war? That's how PS2 won the console war, with a ton of exclusives, RPG exclusives AFAIK.

If all games were available on all platforms, why waste resources maintaining so many platforms? Wouldn't it be more efficient to have just 1 platform? Exclusives are what makes consoles different.

Why do we need a winner? This is America, there can be more than one console. Some people like the Wii (people who aren't HD fans? lol), some people like PS3 for Bluray, some people like being beaten up by MS (myself, Xbox owner until recently). Xbox live if you want a positive....but THESE are the differences that establish the consoles from each other. Not exclusives... this all started with Halo... you know what - I hate Halo, it has never been a deciding factor..

I agree it helps establish a clear winner - but why? Who win's besides the console that by the time it is declared - is already out-dated.

Not so many platforms... the 3 main now are all we need... PC's are the basis, I don't consider that a platform even though it is.. It's a no win argument here though, you're right - one console would be more efficient.
