I just got one to fiddle around with from a friend (sig rig currently) and am having some fun with it. My mobo ain't the best, but right now I got the 2500+ running at 3200+ speeds....not too shabby. My WC keeps it at about 26C full load (my basement has some low ambients). Loving that!

It's a Barton. Only problem I have with my board is no multi or voltage adjustments. So I am having a bit of problems with stability. I may have to settle with 190-195 for the FSB instead of 200, but whatever. I only use this machine for net, music and old games.
I still have an XP 2400+ Thoroughbred and a Biostar M7VIG Pro motherboard that uses the VIA KM266 chipset. I have 768MB of RAM in there. It's still alive and kicking to this day. It was the first computer I ever got that I used exclusively.
ughh yah, well the Work PC im on is only the 2800, but with 2gb of Ram in it, really doesnt do half bad on XP.
Truthfully it is pretty quick even though I have like 12 windows open PDF's and Excel and 32 Emails open !
Obviously this thing is crap compared to my Sig rig at home =(
So i went from my Barton 3200 on K7S5A + TNT2 Ultra, then MX420, to the Sandi 3700 socket 939 with 7800GT.
KABQE Stepping, i was able to clock 3ghz with stock Volts on some MSI NF4 board
(that one is currently being used by my Step Father sold it to him for 200 bucks)
then I built the Opteron 165 machine, love that one for life.
Unfrtnately it is not in use.. and I have no idea what to do with it.. I dont want to sell it because its worth money only cus it is a Good Stepping and good Mobo.. But comparatively, not worth the money... =(
