Just curious to see how high the 6600 GT will go until the processor breaks or shuts down.

speeds are different from card to card. you should get ateast 550/1.2ghz outta it

Also depends on how big the stick cooling is. i have hit 590/1100 and I think I can push the ram farther. (or maybe I have?)

I've got my 6600GT to 575 core / 1150 memory... I've gotten artifacting pushing either of them higher.

Just a quick question. When OCing, is heat the only problem you have to worry about or do you have to worry about other stuff too?

Just push the core first as high as it will let you and then D/L ATI tool. That will let you scan for artifacts. Let it scan for a while. If you get artifacts back it down until you dont. Once this is done push the ram and do the same thing... Once there is no artifacts you have your max oc.

Nope, ATI Tool works with both Nvidia and ATI cards.
