Hey guys I just upgraded to OSX mavericks, and I don't like the scroll wheel seems to have acceleration, is there any way I can make it 1 for 1 like in windows?

Hi,

Using the scroll Reverser app you can use it to bring natural scrolling only to Snow Leopard, Leopard and Tiger. But i don't think so it will work in mavericks.

For Mavericks try this.

By changing it manually, open the Terminal and running the following command:

defaults write -g com.apple.swipescrolldirection -bool FALSE

When finished, log out and log back into your account, and see if the change has taken effect.

i know in the mouse pane in the system preferences you can change it to scroll direction back to normal from "natural" which is really annoying.

now for scroll speed, well in my mouse settings i have something that says scrollling speed and i can change that. for the most part, my scroll speed does seem to be 1 to 1. but i do use a non apple mouse, steelseries sensei.

Ditto - I've never had this problem... maybe I'm missing something or forgot changing a setting a long time ago
