My (not so) trusty X470 ASrock Tai-Chi board has failed , leaving me looking for a new board .
I am at present looking at the Gigabyte Aorus Master X570 .
Wanting to run Mint ( mate) 19.3 on it .
Wanting to know if anybody has actually used this board on Linux , and if so did they have any Problems with it ( I have had issues with audio on higher end gigabyte boards before )
CPU is 3950X , ram is 32gb (2x16gb) 3000mhz Crucial ballistic , Crucial 1tb sata M.2 drive , and some spinning rust drives . cooler is Noctua NH-D15S with additional fan .

Follow up on original post .
I dragged my old Asus C6E ( X370 ) out of retirement , updated the bios put the cpu on and the M.2 appears to be working like a charm . Maybe better than the ASrock ever did .
Largely did this in desperation ( needed a quick fix and no fast way of getting the new board due to the global issues )
everything seems to be supported with the original Mint 19.3 install so may not even have to re-install .

The only issue I had with the C6E on Linux were the sensors. Basically they don't work for the mobo, but the sensors on the C6E are not reliable anyways.
