Find better servers?

It's a low end game from a long time ago.

I don't really like it much but it's all my laptop can handle other than Killing Floor and TES: Morrowind.
They really need a CS 2. Just give new weapons, attachments, armor options, custom cammo, better AI, a level editor, and Maybe... just maybe, add in like a bomb disarming robot and stuff. lol

First off, there are a million public servers with all variations starting with $800 or $16000 so don't limit yourself to servers that you don't like the setup.
Secondly, play competitive scrims through mIRC and you will not find any 16k matches.
Thirdly, deagle + armor is my favorite setup I have been using it exclusively for the last week, saving up my money and picking up weapons off the ground from the people I kill
Fourth, check my CS:S guide it may make you better or give you some ideas... at least get my autoexec if nothing else

and thats not true there are plenty of great pub servers, what you talk about is more for competitive play, some people play to have fun not compete im one of them, im a casual, I used to play competitively and I just got bored with it, going into community 100 tick servers is 100x more fun. All the really good players get burned out after a time, on an old server of mine before they closed we had a few people from team3d come in just to play with us cause they wanted to play for fun not just for money.

That didn't bother me that much about it. The reason I never play it is because people try to take it too seriously. Far too seriously. It's just a damn game, quit pretending it's the end of the world if you don't pwn everyone in the server. eitljtiyk
