Anyone getting Intel X-25M G2 for <$299?

I grow tired of my noisy raptor 150. I'm quite decided on an 80GB X-25M G2, but I'm not sure if I should wait a little. Places like Amazon are showing them for $244 but out of stock. Newegg has it in stock for $299.

Have any folks actually bought these Gen-2 versions for less than $299?

Hope that helps. I actually got mine from antonline through amazon a couple weeks ago, but I was contemplating just driving to this store to pick one up. I called, and the guy who picked up the phone seemed like a nice guy and told me they had some in stock. This was a few weeks ago though.
they were actually going for 215 before thanksgiving. sold out within like 30 minutes. i was going to return my gen 1 for the gen 2 but then they jacked up the price by 100 bucks. so now i'm using my gen 1 with tony trim and i gotta say. it's pretty impressive

i actually stumbled upon this great service,
what it does is it checks amazon`s repository every 5 sec if the item you are looking for is in stock. now here is a funny part, once the product returns to the stocks , the application sets the alarm off
) so its really helpful tool should really look for www.mya2zgrabber.com

The 3rd party sellers at Amazon will jack up the price of this unit if they haven't already. We are using an interesting trick a friend told us about that alerted us within seconds of when a laptop we were looking for came back in stock at Amazon, at the REGULAR retail price. It's free and you could use it for anything. It actually monitors stock at Amazon, and sounds an alarm the moment your item comes back in stock. We're using it to watch for a laptop. It's at www.azproductsnatcher.com

I'm sure newegg will drop the price back down to 215 on the Intel SSD's the day after Christmas. You just need to be ready to purchase as soon as they put it on sale.
