yes I am tring to find places other than newegg to buy a AMD cpu.Someplace where I could identify stepping would be ideal...I was thinking(Uh-O)that I would like to cherry pick my stepping.<br><img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Smile">

What I do and what I recommend to everyone is to look for your particular component through <a href="http://www.pricegrabber.com" target="_blank">PriceGrabber</a> and you will find the best price with shipping included. You will see most online computer component resellers listed when you search and it will have their user rating too. I have shopped all over the place, but my online retailers of choice are newegg and zipzoomfly.<br />

<a href="http://www.tankguys.com" target="_blank">TankGuys</a> is amongst the few that you can pick your stepping, but you pay for that pleasure. Your best bet would be to buy off of somebody with a good user rating on eBay.
