xbit lab has good reviews on the Thermalright X-Silent 140 but, is the 120mm just as good?

if not what's the more preferred 120mm case fan?

plz do not say gentle typhoon cuz they are 20 bucks here

Scythe Gentle Typhoon AP-14.

Seriously though, I have a Thermalright X-Silent 120 in my ATCS 840 and it's a superb fan. It doesn't seem to move as much air as my Gentle Typhoon AP-14 but it moves a decent amount of air and is dead silent.

One thing I forgot to mention.

I've heard from several people that it can have ticking/vibration problems if it's mounted horizontally. I have mine mounted as a bottom intake and I haven't experienced any issues (The rubber mounts might help) but it's something to keep in mind.

Well, decibel ratings for fans are often misleading. (Looking at you Coolermaster R4)

I can't tell you the actual decibel level of the X-Silent 120 but it's one of the quietest, smoothest fans I've ever used.
