I was hoping to use a 1:1 ratio for my bus/memory.

My system is 24/7 prime95/occt stable at 460x8.5 (3910Mhz) Vcore is 1.18v
Memory is running at 5:6 ratio which is 1104mhz. 5-5-5-15 2T 1.9v . Temps at load is 52 degrees.

My system is not so happy at 471x8.5 (4ghz), it will boot to windows but it will be unstable unless i loosen the DRAM timings to 6-6-6-18 2T and overvolt the memory to 2.3v.

based on every information I have it seems that memory is holding me back to make me go upwards of 4ghz.

When I underclock my memory using the 1:1 (333/667) Strap I hit a wall at 440x8 = 3,520mhz.

I tried so many voltage combination. I tried different multipliers. I tried different timings. I tried the small increment technique (5mhz at a time). Can anyone please have an idea as to why this strap 1:1 (333/667) is failing? thanks a lot.

Board is DFI P35 DK T2RS
Memory is Trident PC2-8500
Q9950 VID is 1.08v
Watercooled.

I dunno what to adjust because the settings is

failing at 1:1 (333/667)
FSB 440 x 8 = 3.52Ghz
DDR is 880mhz 5-5-5-15 2T

But

Stable at 5:6 (333/800)
FSB 460 x 8.5 = 3.91Ghz
DDR is 1102Mhz 5-5-5-15 2T.

Everything should be less strained yet strap fails.
