Has anyone tried a Securifi Almond router? http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0087NZ31S/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B0087NZ31S&linkCode=as2&tag=securifi-20

They have great reviews and they are planning to build an uber-router for $100. The only think it is lacking is 3x3:3 n/ac but still decent enough.

The Almond+ is vaporware. They claim a September 2013 ship date on Kickstarter but haven't even filed for FCC approval yet.

There are tons of positive reviews on Amazon for the Almond from folks in love with the touch screen and their customer service department. But read the negative ones. Lots of folks with problems that cannot be fixed because the core chipset is buggy.

Caveat emptor.
