I went and ordered this since it's only $279.99 after rebate and I am taking a chance on it.

There is no reviews anywhere on newegg and no reviews on google. The only thing I found out is that the cooler looks a little bit different and if you look at specifications it looks to be a little bit smaller by about an inch than the 100352-2L model, the one everyone bought and recommends.

I'm hoping it OC's well and I will let you guys know as soon as I get to test it.
It should arrive by tomorrow or Thursday.

MAX STABLE OC 1130mhz gpu 1550vram on stock voltage no tweaks only +20% powercontrol

EDIT: for newcomers to this thread this is the results so far.
The 3 images represent 3 different OC results starting from low to high.
Last picture is 1140mhz 1565 0vram stock voltage temperature 69celcius at 53% fan. I hit maximum for my GPU core. After 1130 i get flickering or driver stopped responding. It might get fixed if I would raise voltage to 1.30v, but I don't need anymore power I value silent too much. Max for VRAM is at 1555 over drive stops at 1575.

Pretty good GPU. Gamble was successful

For anyone still on the fence about this GPU go ahead and purchase it. Cooler is outstanding That last picture 1140mhz gpu at 53% fan speed it's maximum 69celcius

VERY QUIET. Also voltage is unlocked btw. My asic quality is 42.5% not sure if it matters just so u know. AFAIK this board is not reference. It's about 1/2 inch shorter. So full cover waterblocks won't fit on it or maybe not cover everything.

I ordered the 2-L model the other day to crossfire with the MSI twin frozr III because newegg stated the MSI card as being discontinued and I should receive it tomorrow. Today I go on newegg and they have a new version of the Sapphire and the MSI is back in stock! Just my luck! If this card isn't good I'm going to be SO ticked. Please let us know how you like it!

the SAPPHIRE Model 100352-3L is a newer hd 7950 boost sku. model no 11196-19-20G. has a slightly different configuration of display connectors. uses a custom PCB which is not compatible with full cover waterblocks. since it a new sku we don't know if its voltage locked. 27 cm length

SAPPHIRE Model 100352-2L uses a reference AMD PCB design. the AMD marking above the pci-e connector confirms it. its model no is 11196-16-20G. voltage unlocked. 29 cm length.

My order got shipped today. Hopefully here by tomorrow. I live like 30 miles from newegg.

So the new 3L model uses reference design? That's good right?

Definitely wanna know if its voltage locked. Also if you could post the ASIC quality, it'll be interesting to see because of the new model, if the binning has gotten to the point where the new 7950 chips are higher quality like the Vapor-X.

I just got mine in today, its much quieter than I thought it would be. I haven't OCed it yet, but it runs Metro 2033 @ 1080P max settings without a hiccup. It's much faster than I thought and I don't think I'll need to OC it.

you should overclock it. even at stock voltage 1100 mhz is easy. if you want to play crysis 3 that performance will come in handy. enjoy.

When I get home from work I'll try changing the voltage, do I need trixx or can I change voltage with afterburner?
Try it with Afterburner first and have GPU-Z open to verify voltage change. Put the card under load to see if the voltage stays up or goes back to stock.

Sure no problem, the only thing I'm worried about is my PSU handling overclocks/overvoltage.
