I recently picked up and Opteron 165. I'm not sure what to do with my old 3800X2. The stepping is LDBFE and I ran it at 2.45ghz 24/7. I have gotten it over 2.7 on occation. I'm thinking about selling it.

On the other hand I'm thinking about picking up a 939 Nforce3 board to use my AGP 6800GS in with the 3800X2. This would take the home of my 3.0E D0 and my ASUS P4P800E-Deluxe since I would recycle the rest of the parts in the rig. The intel can hit over 4ghz but I alwasys ran it 3.75 with my DDR500 at 1:1.

So I'm not sure what to do. I need appraisals on my 3800X2, 3.0E D0 and my P4P800E-Deluxe.

Thanks

As said above, $100 for the X3800 if you've still got the warranty + box and its still in warranty period.

Not good with Intel stuff sorry
Not much though - say, 50% of cheapest retail price

And 100 does seem reasonable, but don't be suprised if you can't sell it for that.

You're joking, right?

On topic: An X3800 939 is a good deal at $100, so long you kept everything, as all others previously stated.

Dude, last time I checked the 3.0E D0 was made by Intel, and the P4P800E-Deluxe was for Intels....
