I bought this laptop a little over 2 weeks ago, and it is in perfect condition. It's not really what I want, so I'm hoping to get as much as I can from it.

There is another 9 full months of warranty from Lenovo, but it can be extended for up to two additional years.
The exact model is: 95412SU
Quick link to the specs: http://www.cnet.com/laptops/lenovo-ideapad-y500-95412su/4505-3121_7-35536122.html

If it would increase the value considerably, I would also like to know what the laptop would be worth with a Crucial M4 256GB mSata SSD installed.

Thanks,
- Jag

Specs wise, it's a great laptop, but regarding cooling and material quality, it can't really compete with brands like Asus, Sager or MSI.

I'd say 650$ shipped without the SSD, and 800$ shipped with.
