I have had this cpu laying around for a while somehow it got bent pins at one time i bent them all back perfect and tested it in the only board i have here for 478 board is a 915 chipset that only supports up to 2.2ghz cpus. But in that board the cpu does post and you can go into bios. Back when i had a 478 system it did work i got it from a friend he worked at a pc shop and it was left and no one claimed it. I took some pics camera aint very good their about as good as i could get them. Checked ebay and this rare cpu goes for 150 or more on most auctions Will give as much info as requested.

I think if you wanted to sell it here, you'd be able to get $30-40.

You may be able to get it for $80 on ebay though

ya im wanting 80 or more sence its the fastest northwood you can buy. Selling some old cpus putting towards a c2d cpu.

I cant run cpuz on it dont have a board officaly supports it i can get it to post and go into bios so i know it works. I thk i will sell it on ebay and set my reserv for 80 looking at ebay not one of them has went for less then 120. Iampoor is that a msi 865pe -pfs if so back when i had that board this cpu worked in it but my 3.0 pressy at the time would do 3.8 so it was better.
