Hey, I wasn't sure where to post this.

I've got a question.
I have tested Aquamark 3 many, many times.

I've come to the Max OC point (Or haven't I?).

Now this is my question: When I run the test with 290x9 I get less points then 300x8.5, although 290x9 gives a higher clockspeed. Why?

Not all overclocks are good for example if i over clock my 6800Gt i get lower scores than at stock its like everything you can push it as far as it will go but in the end it might not always bring better scores or FPS

Yeah ok, I get the point

But isn't it better for overall performance to get the highest Clockspeed?

Not always as i said above not all OC are good some points ocing is great till a point but once you step over it then well the performance out of the Chip drops
