A surge took out my PSU and motherboard last Monday. I've not been able to boot nor try any of my three harddrives ever since.
My SSD has my OS and all my programs/settings, while my two HDDs had my music mostly.

As I'm impatient and can't wait to just try it out, would you know whether there's a risk that my SSD is fried too..?

Thanks!

Surge protectors are garbage. they work one time & thats it. Waste of money. If you really want to protect your PC you need a UPS period. I had this happen to me awhile back. Surge took out Mobo, HDD & PSU.
