Are you asking if Intel makes quad core processors? If so, yes. The have plenty of them.

If you're asking if there are quad core pentiums 4's, no.
why are you reading a dell catalogue!!

you should know about Dell by now!!

go to your room and think about what you have done!!

It's probably referring to HT dual cores. Dell seems to be quite vague on actual specs.
Dell is just vague any way.

have you ever looked at a PC in a catalog the tell you it has 1gb ram and a dual core and a 22" screen and thats it! how strange how could some one by a PC based on those stats! its ridiculouse!

That's not what a typical Dell XPS user thinks. Think of the 2.4GHz quad core processors, my friend says they run at 9.6GHz!

I think that the OP refers to the Pentium Dual Core CPU's. The E2160, E2180, and E2200. There are no Pentium Quad Cores that I know of yet.
yeah they dont exhist. And only PEntium D EE had HT AFAIK
maybe dell thought there would be a pentium quadcore so listed it (like the e5200 X2)
Q7x00 (idk if its out yet) is pretty much a pentium quad core (like the specs of a e5x00 x2 afaik)
Not that I know of. Can you link what you read?
where will be. they havent been released yet.
Some programs think my quad is a pentium 3.
if you consider 1 cpu as being a core , and a system having 4 cpus that are pentiums, then yes there is a quad core pentium III computer.

Dell made some. How old is this catalog ?
intel was talking about releasing q7x00 chips with 800fsb and 2mb of cache

OK but why would you? The core concept came after multi CPU's it is used to differentiate from multi CPU's?

But good guess to maybe try and explain OP's question.

The Q7500 might qualify. 200x13, 2MB L2 cache.
