I was searching around ebay and I came upon these. They are 130CFM at 48dBa. which is kinda loud but I figure a fan controller would take care of the noise. Also does anyone know how I can make my own fan controller? I was thinking about just hooking up 12v lead with a electric dimmer.(like a house light kind). Im not sure if it would work.

Those fans should definetly be strong enough, anything over 100CFM is good enough for water. I am not sure if a dimmer will work because it is used with 120V instead of 12V, but it might.

Those fans would be great. I'm running 86.5 CFM and I'm happy as a clam with my temps.

I would go to radio shack for the fan control part. I know you will have to deal with morons, but you will eventually get the part you seek...I hate radio shack.

So Im not the only one? haha.
Quick question. I just got my heater core from autozone, how does this thing work? there are no pipes going through the fins. Did I order the wrong thing? Its autozone part number 398219. I was sure I bought the right thing.

You should start this question in your own thread !

It would use flat section tubes to allow the coolant flow. Each of the tubes will be seperated into smaller flow paths.

cheers

I just did a search with that number on the autozone website and it didn't display a pic. Take a picture of it if you can or find the right one and link it.

*edit* I'll just link one to you. http://www.dangerdenstore.com/produc...&cat=14&page=1
