The average cost of building a desk is somewhere around 70-80 bucks. Is something like this capable of holding a 60ish lb rig among monitor, keyboard and mouse. the description says 200lb capacity but im just wondering if thats an overstatement let me know thoughts or anyone is using one them selves.

also i was wondering if anyone has tried to wrap the top of one with contact paper or some sort of vinyl for a better appearance.

I've seen a lot more weight than that on them but cant tell you what exactly was happening on it lol. They will sag in the middle though.

These tables will easily hold 200lbs no problem. I can jump on them @ 140lbs no problem.

IMO just get a some clear plexiglass cut to that size (or something similar).
