I have ASrock z370 Extreme4 MB with i5 8600k and I see that there is a option in bios to "load optimized cpu oc setting" I can choose 4.5, 4.6, 4.7 and 4.8 but that one is in red I assume the voltage is more then 1.4... I tried the 4.7.. Everything worked fine even my temps looked good but when I looked at the vcore and it was set to fixed 1.34... Isn't that a little bit high for 4.7hgz OC? Would it be safe to use those setting but go down on the voltage? See how low I can go before it becomes unstable?

Yea last time I OCed a CPU was on my X5675 to 4.6ghz few years back and I remember it was much harder to do... This kinda sound too good to be true

Thank you

Don't use motherboard auto-overclocking. Just don't. The settings are always borderline crazy if not for vcore then for VCSSA or VCCIO or something. Plus you have no idea what settings are adjusted, and if system becomes unstable you have no other option then "disable auto OC" instead of finetuning.

Just read a couple of OC'ing guides and do OC manually.
