Asus 790x Drivers

Sorry for asking such a dumb question, but where can I find the most updated drivers for my M4A79XTD EVO? I used the driver provided by Asus but it seems it has not been updated since July. Thanks for any help!

Yes but as stated before those drivers are 6 months old, shouldn't I be using newer ones?

perhaps there are no new updates at the moment because everything is fine?

Believe it or not, it doesn't matter. The main reason it doesn't matter is because if it isn't broken, then there's no reason to mess with it. But check this out: if you're having issues and if you're using the latest driver, then one possible solution is to try one of the previous driver versions.

Not only that, but doesn't really matter if they haven't made a new driver since July. I don't know how to explain why, but it doesn't matter, nor is it worth investing any thought into it.

Actually, I never thought before I created this thread that the 790fx/gx/x has been out for quite some time except for the socket change, which doesn't really affect anything, so you are probably right and the drivers from july are good enough. The last time I built a computer was in the Athlon XP 1800+ and Abit KR7A-RAID days when drivers could change a lot!

It seems new drivers still come out often, but then at the same time sometimes a driver version becomes several months old.

I see, either way thank you for the educated reply.
