You should go to the Asus website and download the latest chipset drivers, then install them and reboot. Then flash to the latest BIOS, also available from the Asus download site.
The stuff you want off the CD is Asus Probe (hardware monitor), EZ Flash or something similarly named (to flash the BIOS in Windows) and if you want it, Ai Booster OR nTune - they are both Windows based overclocking utilites by Asus and Nvidia respectively.
