Yes the board is worth $180-200 but there are other boards I would get with the money instead.

I'd go with a p5k or a p5n, commando has older p965 chipset.
For a budget (somehow this one is cheap) the DFI INFINITY P965-S DARK motherboard, has solid state capacitors, good chipset and a great overclocker.
