Asus Crosshair 3 Bios Update and AMD 965 125W

Hi Folks

I'm almost finished buying my new system, however I'm worried that I won't be able to get my motherboard to post. I know I need the 1003 bios for the AMD 965 125W processor and what are my options if I need to update the bios. Easy Flash 2 is pretty much useless if the processor is not supported without a bois update, right? Should I:

1. Buy a cheap processor (what is the cheapest this board will support?)
2. Send the board to ASUS (will they update the bios under warranty?)
3. Replace the bios chip (is this possible?--Is it soldered in?)
4. Buy a Gigabyte or MSI board

Or other possibility? Thanks
