Can anyone tell me how to do this through the Global website? All I found on their website was Global Technical Support and a list of Service Centers. I'm living in Korea - not the U.S.

Tech Support went through some tests to do at first, but they eventually said to return it to the retailer, who would then check it further and possibly RMA it. Unfortunately the retailer was an online guy whose details I don't know - and likely wouldn't do a thing anyway.

This is what they said:
Quote:
Dear Valued Customer,

Thank you for contacting ASUS Technical Service.

We thought the slot may have some problems.
Please contact with your retailer for further check. If it is due to motherboard faulty, your retailer would send your motherboard to us for RMA (Return Material Authorization) service.

Sorry for the trouble. Wish you a good day.

I don't have the box unfortunately. I got it from a friend, who gave it me in the box for his new motherboard with just cut outs of the serial/UPC/Part No/etc.
