Hi guys.

I am trying to OC my Eee 1201N, and I've read about a lot of guys who has done it..
I downloaded OC Tuner, and added the ion.ini to it's directory. I found the asroc file and added "1201n=ion.ini" to the list of supported models.

But when I open the OC Tuner it just says "This ytility is not for this platform"

So any idea what I am doing wrong???

Best regards

Are you sure you're doing it correctly? You used the exact version listed and downloaded the proper ion.ini?
Quote:
INSTRUCTIONS FOR OCTUNER (version 2.2.98):
Source: http://myhpmini.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=2445
1. Download and install the OCTuner software from this link: ftp://174.142.97.10/utility/OCTuner/OCTuner(2.2.98).zip
2. Go to the install path (IE C:\Program Files\ASRock Utility\OCTuner) and open the file ASROC.ini
3. Add this line under [Support Model]: 1201n=ion.ini
4. Download the attached ion.ini from the middle of the page on the source url and put it in the install path folder (same folder as ASROC.ini)
5. Use the program (at your own risk) to overclock your 1201n!
Also, I used to own a 1201N, overclocking the cpu hardly makes a difference to be honest. I quit updating my blog for it after I sold it, but you can check it out here:

I have a bunch of stuff on there you might find interesting.

Thanks for your answer.
I can't open the page where I am supposed to find the ION.ini...?
Or where can I find it??

Best regards
