Any suggestions?

Looking at a Logitech 600 3.5mm.
Would you recommend USB over the 3.5mm?

I just wanna get one and get it over with.

Sometimes I just don't wanna wear the Vengeance 2000.

Did a search and they were old. Not looking for something to clip or put on headset cable. Just want a cheap one for the desk.

The Logitech 600 3.5mm is $3.99 refurb. $8 for new shipped.

If that's gonna cause issues with my sound card, I can go USB, just costs a little more.

I went ahead and bought one for $3.67.
I'll report back with the findings.

The USB version is probably better. I've broke two of those logitech 3.5 in the last four months. Super cheap though so it's no big deal.

Well I have my headset and I use Sound Switch to toggle to Speakers. So I thought I would only use the microphone when switched to speakers. So I figured it would be easier to run them off the same card.

If you have an Asus Essence STX, I would suggest using that for the mic in. I just got an Asus Essence STX and an Olympus ME52W mic. Sounds great!

ARGH! I needed one with a desk stand. We'll see if I have issues. The seller said they would refund my money if I return it. Too bad shipping is over $1.90. HAHA.

i think for some clip mic, can be just put on the table....

mine : i use zalman clip , but i often just put it on table with mic boost on,(push to talk is recommended for this)
you can use any mic i think, and make some custom stand if u want
